Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 2026
attestationletter.com is designed to keep letter generation on your device. This policy explains what letter data is not sent to an application backend, what usage and technical data is processed by hosting and analytics providers, and how local browser storage works.
Overview
attestationletter.com keeps letter generation in the browser, so the names, addresses, dates, and letter text you enter are not submitted to an application backend for generation. At the same time, like many websites, we use third-party infrastructure and analytics tools to operate, secure, and measure the site.
How Our Service Works
attestationletter.com is a client-side web application. Letter generation, form processing, template rendering, signature drawing, and PDF creation happen within your browser. We do not ask you to create an account or upload your document content to a cloud editor. The lack of a backend does not mean the site makes zero network requests. Standard hosting, font delivery, and analytics requests may still occur.
Information We Do Not Collect
We do not intentionally collect or store the following on an application server:
- Names, addresses, phone numbers, or email addresses you enter into letter forms
- Letter content or any documents you generate
- Signature images you draw using the signature pad
- Template selections, font choices, or any generator settings
- Uploaded document files, because the product does not provide server-side uploads
Local browser storage
To reduce accidental data loss, the generator can temporarily autosave a draft in your browser’s localStorage. That draft stays on your device and is not synced to our servers. Under the current implementation, saved drafts expire after about 24 hours.
You can remove this local draft by resetting the generator or clearing site storage in your browser.
Analytics and measurement tools
The site currently uses Google Tag Manager to load marketing, analytics, and consent-related tags. The active tags inside the container may change over time as site tooling changes.
Depending on which tags are published, providers such as Google, Clickio, or other measurement vendors may process information such as page views, page URLs, referrers, browser type, device information, approximate location derived from IP address, on-site interactions, and cookie or similar identifiers. We do not intend to send the generated letter content itself to these providers.
Consent handling may be managed through tooling loaded by Google Tag Manager, including Clickio if that tag is enabled in the container. If you use browser privacy controls, content blockers, or cookie controls, some tag requests may still be limited or blocked by your device or browser configuration.
Infrastructure and third-party services
The site relies on third-party providers for delivery, measurement, and related site operations:
- Vercel: Hosts the static site and may process standard request metadata such as IP address, user agent, and timing information for delivery, security, and operational logging.
- Google Fonts: Provides font files used by the website and templates. Requests to Google Fonts may include standard browser and network metadata.
- Google: Provides Google Tag Manager infrastructure, Google Fonts, and may also provide analytics, webmaster, advertising, or related measurement tooling when enabled.
- Clickio: May provide consent management or related advertising and measurement controls when enabled through Google Tag Manager.
- Microsoft: May provide analytics, webmaster, advertising, or related measurement tools when those services are enabled.
Cookies and similar technologies
The site may use ordinary browser storage and caching features needed to display pages efficiently, and the generator uses local browser storage for optional draft recovery. Tags loaded through Google Tag Manager may also use cookies, pixels, tags, or similar identifiers. See the Cookie Policy for more detail.
How we use data
- To deliver the site and assets over the web
- To secure, monitor, and troubleshoot the service
- To understand traffic, content performance, and product usage trends
- To measure campaigns or acquisition performance when analytics, advertising, or consent tools are enabled
- To remember optional local draft content on the same device and browser
Legal bases and user choices
Depending on your location, we may rely on different legal bases for different processing activities. For example, site delivery and security may rely on legitimate interests or similar permitted grounds, while analytics or advertising technologies may require consent or another valid basis under applicable law.
Consent choices may be handled through tooling loaded from Google Tag Manager. You can also use browser settings, extensions, or device-level controls to block or delete cookies and local storage.
International processing
Third-party providers used to host, deliver, or measure the site may process data in countries other than your own. That may include transfers to the United States or other jurisdictions where those providers operate.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, deletion, correction, objection, restriction, or withdrawal of consent for certain processing. Because the site does not maintain a backend account system or server-side letter database, some requests may be limited to provider-level data or data we receive through direct communications.
Children's Privacy
Our service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
